This is not a paradox, it's a difficulty with inexact language. Language does not always reflect reality.

Given how often that nature is "wasteful, violent, and lawless", as are we, it's easy to see how we would assign to it a pejorative judgement.

I can easily imagine a scientific explanation for the existence of the "singularity", doubtful that I will ever be able to test it;)
