This is not always true, for either sex. My mom told me once, “I thought that when all you kids left home that the house would finally be clean. Turned out it was worse than ever and I realized, it was me”. That realization didn’t lead to a cleaner house for her, just a little more self knowledge. She loved to cook and entertain, she could trash a kitchen making a peanut butter sandwich. As she got into her 70’s and 80’s we would all pitch in and swamp out the kitchen after the meal, buy her at least a day or two;) Great article, time for a lot of guys to grow up.
