THIS is your gripe with Wakanda forever? Seems incredibly short sighted to me, not to mention ignorant of basic marketing. Neither Disney nor any other producer of these ridiculous superhero movies are doing so to promote revolutionary ideas or ideals...they're selling into the domestic U.S. market and hoping to create crossover appeal with white audiences, not to mention tapping the huge trough of Intenational movie audience cash. So no, no U.S. government villains, no revolutionary rhetoric, and almost certainly no awareness of appropriation of Angela Davis and Huey Newton.

The second sentence in this paragraph points to the real disappointment of both movies, the creation of a mythical high functioning African nation organized as theocratic, heritance derived monarchy.
