This language needs to be cleaned up. The U.S. "printed" maybe .0001% of those dollars. That terminology suggests that one fourth of all dollars ever issued are now in consumer's hands and just waiting to start bidding up prices, one way to create inflation. The government DID issue relief checks in one form or another, actual checks, unemployment checks, business support loans, food stamps, and many other forms, but the total of the relief packages is less than $3 trillion. That's a lot of money but it's not 25% of all dollars ever issued.
