This piece is so shot though with falsehoods, wild speculations and character assassinations that I would have to highlight the whole thing to accurately reply. Of course as Robert points out below, Sanders is NOT a Democrat, merely an independent who again is trying to commandeer a party to which he will not, for some reason, become a member. Small wonder that many Democrats never welcomed him to the party he was crashing. There’s a way to party crash that can come off well, a way to be welcomed even though you don’t belong and were not invited. Sen. Sanders and his followers should study this topic.

Since Bernie intends to win the nomination from a party that you disparage as a creature of Wall St. and Big business it seems that you have cause to question his honesty and integrity. Mr. Sanders will need to either raise a groundswell of non voting progressives to turn out and sweep him to the Democratic nomination or play ball nicely with the centrist Democrats that you are disparaging. He will need a groundswell large enough to also win a large majority for the Democrats the Senate, one that necessarily will include many centrists and even right leaning Dems, to have a prayer of moving his promises forward. Retaining the House and getting the necessary votes for the Bernie agenda will also require the cooperation of centrist “corporate” Democrats. Better take care who you flame.
