Very glad you are back in the groove now but statements like this drive me a little nuts. Maybe I'm the only person in the country who relished the absence of traffic racing down my little street, who loved seeing families adopt the evening stroll as a form of recreation, who found freedom to pursue long neglected dreams...but I doubt it.

The world and its endless possibilities are recognized and realized within. While it's very true that national emergencies can close many doors for a period of time, it's also true that deprivation and the shattering of habits can open others.

Maybe I just feel guilty for the almost unalloyed freedoms that the lockdowns opened up for me, and I am certainly much more fortunate than many. The Chinese pictograph for crisis is supposed to be a combination of danger and opportunity.
