Well, hold my beer, I'll try to explain this. Men as individuals are unnecessary, superfluous, only as valuable as their actions make them in the eyes of others, specifically women. Women, on the other hand, are valuable by the act of existing. The average human IQ is 100, which means that a large number of us are well below that number bringing that average down to the dismal 100.

Both sexes show off for each other and particularly within their own sex. Women compete to be seen as beautiful, employing difficult, painful, expensive, and time consuming regimes of dress and personal grooming for their competition. Men compare their professional and economic status, and the majority of young men who can bring little of this kind of status to the contest end up handing their beer to a buddy to show off in some dumb physical way;)
