What makes you think that Hamas will EVER sign a permanent cease fire with Israel? They have had decades to do something like this, to ensure that their children will live in peace, and they have only ever prepared for and executed war against Israel.

If Hamas does sign a cease fire it will ONLY be a temporary one during which they will rearm and prepare for their next attack.
