What "we"? Counties/states keep death records, Federal govt. does not. Why give cover to GOP lies about voter fraud and election cheating? Voter suppression is arguably a much bigger problem for elections than is any kind of fraud or cheating. For the GOP voter suppression IS the preferred method of cheating. Homeland Security has declared this election the most secure and fair in history...I would suggest you first argue with them. The late counting of returns was almost entirely the work of GOP governors and legislatures, and the soon to be former president has exploited the opening they gave him to lie about the security of the election and to destroy citizen confidence in our elections in general. This kind of perfidy is expected from Putin, it has NO place among our candidates or public servants.
