When you get your basic science so wrong it's hard to take your ideas seriously. You might want to look up the term "greenhouse effect" before making such erroneous statements. The visible light from the sun warms up the physical features of the earth, which then radiate INFRARED waves back towards space. CO2 is LESS reflective of the visual light than it is of the infrared spectrum waves, causing a net gain in heat. In addition, clouds may indeed provide some increase in albedo but water vapor itself is a potent green house gas.

Generating energy is one thing, calculating the green house gasses emitted by that consumption is another. Burning a gallon (6 pounds) of gas in your car generates almost 20 pounds of atmospheric CO2. You claim that the evidence of global warming is not "incontrovertible" but seem to ignore the information gathered by a range of scientists over the last several decades that certainly seem to show incontrovertible evidence of global warming over the last century https://www.climate.gov/news-features/understanding-climate/climate-change-global-temperature. You might want to look at these data before calling such claims "quasi-religious". As I'm sure you know, religions have no evidence of the veracity of their claims, NOOA seems to have mountains of evidence, lifting them well out of religious "thinking" and well into the realm of science.

It seems that if anyone is limiting their perceptions by a "tunnel vision" examination of the known facts that might be you;)
