While this is patently false, you are right on point with the need to organize. Of course many of the employers complaining are not the "panicking corporations" , they are "mom and pop" operations with thin margins and real problems paying a true living wage. Possibly unionization, particularly of service sector and health care workers, will be a tide that lifts all boats, including the customers of the mom and pops, and will allow them to fatten margins enough for that living wage. If not then the UBI (universal basic income) has to be on the table. Possibly a trade tax on equities markets targeted at massive "machine trading" that accounts for up to 80% of all trades could help pay for it;)
