Why? Why is there any difference at all between cryptos and fiats in their ability to quantify and pay for externalities? Both cryptos and government backed currencies are so difficult to understand that only highly intelligent and motivated people can really grasp their functions, and so far, blockchain cryptos are both very expensive and slow in utilization, hardly any competition to the fiats. Why not just keep our eyes on the ball, the externalities not accounted for in the pricing of business and commerce. Why try to build a new engine for the plane WHILE it's in flight?
