Why would you write such an obviously false statement? You have no idea what I believe or what my relationship status might be, why not stick to what you know...an obvious way to stay truthful.

You have provided a slew of speculative scenarios on the dynamic of somebody's relationship, the long days, the kids, the homework, the Instagram, the kids again, the soccer...maybe some of this applied to the author's relationship. All speculation of course.

All I did is point out an obvious truth about intimate relationships; If you can't tell your partner that you are feeling overwhelmed then you are both in trouble. Further, if your partner can't hear you there's trouble, if you can't build in time for the two of you to share your feelings, good, bad, or otherwise, there's trouble brewing.

Stewing and brewing up negative feelings to "save" your partner's is a potent recipe for divorce, in 5 or 10 or 50 years.
