Yeah you should be sorry for a know-nothing comment like that. If in your book Biden has ever espoused a “far right policy” then you can rest in the knowledge that at least 3% of your fellow citizens agree with you. Now 3% is definitely enough people to maintain a robust online discussion (3% of 300 million + is over 3 million people) it’s just not enough voters to elect anybody with like political views. Possibly enough voters to swing a national election though, assuming they are organized.

Given your simplistic political analyses I question your capability to discern what I do or do not support. I’ll give you a couple of clues; I supported LBJ who made the flat promise that he would not take American boys into combat in South East Asia…I’m assuming they still teach how that promise turned out in schools these days. Absent his monumental war blunder LBJ would have been the other great twentieth century president, and while breaking his promise only cost me a couple of years underground and the chance of a college education, it cost millions the ultimate sacrifice, often involuntarily.

Why is this illustration relevant? It just shows that there’s no telling what a candidate will do once in office. LBJ was perhaps the only man capable of ramming the Civil Rights, Voting Rights, Medicare, Medicaid, Aid to Families with Dependent Children through Congress. He also has the blood of millions on his hands. Nixon created the EPA, before Congress passed into law its creation, took us off the gold standard, a crucially important economic step, and also has the blood of millions on his hands. Pretending you know what Biden will do in office may feel good but you actually have the Trump record to predict his next four years. As Dr. Phil says (probably the height of his knowledge) “the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior”. Biden was pivotal in passing the only significant medical system reform since LBJ. Trump has no idea what is involved in obtaining or using medical care but he will do exactly what Moscow Mitch tells him to.
