Yet another ignorant attempt to smear the party that will actually fight for the American working class. The $2000 checks were an ill advised use of funds in the face of the very real need (the fact that Trump proposed them was a clear tip off) that the author herself clearly points out. Quite true that tens of thousands of Americans desperately need more than a $2000 check, equally true that many tens of millions of Americans don't need them at all. The minute that Biden takes the oath of office the GOP will go back into full and phony deficit hawk/austerity mode, and the hundreds of billions spent on checks for people who didn't need them will be held against the crucial spending, yet to be passed, for those in dire need.
